apple.gif (905 bytes) The Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife

has a Wildlife Education Center in Frankfort, Kentucky. This education center is an interpretive center with eye catching, interactive exhibits and fun activities for all ages. The exhibits are indoors and outdoors with three aquariums, maps, computers, and non-releasable bald eagles, bison, elk, deer and turkeys. In addition to the education center there are fishing lakes, a songbird area and a small wetland with shaded picnic grounds.

There is also a new 132-acre Game Farm. Admission is $2.00 adults, $1.00 ages 5 - 15. Group rates also. Call first for hours: (502) 564-7863, seasonal variations in schedule, closed Mondays and state holidays.
